Here are our top tips for creating the perfect fire-it for your space:

  • Tip 1: Find out with your local council area on any building restrictions, as each LGA has specific regulations. This may impact your design so we recommend finding this information out first!

  • Tip 2: Study our Instagram (supreme_sandstone) for some motivation for your mood board! We create all kinds of styles. The choice is up to you.

  • Tip 3: Examine your base material (if you desire one!–we advocate for simple upkeep) Our go-to Is Rhyolite (decomposed granite) which compliments the raw grains of our sandstone. We also have the option of sandstone paving for a base material. Whereas some prefer plain gravel which is a great cost-effective option.

  • Tip 4: Finalise your style off your mood board and remember if you enjoy a superb toasty fire pit, the lower the seating, the warmer you will be- Adapt accordingly.

  • Tip 5 : Analyze the location of your firepit. Will its location be practical for the long-term? As this isn’t a portable option for many without a machine.

  • Tip 6 : Engage a licensed Landscaper to install your fire-pit! Remembering the design may look simple. But when choosing to use a licensed tradesman you are receiving warranties for the construction and your property is covered for any accidents that may occur during the construction phase. Don’t shortchange yourself!
